6 Ways To Drink More Water

Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day is something I really struggle with. I always joke that I'm living life dehydrated, but it's true, and probably not that funny. Because not consuming enough water can lead to health issues down the road and current health issues such as headaches - something I experience almost daily. So with that said, I'm working harder to drink more and I thought I'd share some of my tips with you!

Start and finish your day right
Try to drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up, and you go to bed drink another glass.

Before every meal
Consuming a full glass before every meal can really curb calorie intake because it causes you to feel more full.

After every bathroom break
Once you start drinking more and more water, you'll notice yourself taking more bathroom breaks. Drink a glass after every single break.

Eat water-rich foods
One sneaky way to increase your daily water consumption is to consume food with high water content. Most fruits and vegetables such a cucumber, watermelon, grapefruit, and zucchini are great examples of this.

Opt for water at restaurants
Pass up the soda and alcohol for water instead. You'll stay more hydrated, plus it's healthier and free!

Keep a water bottle filled
I've noticed when I keep a water bottle in the fridge, I'm more likely to drink more because it's cold and refreshing.
