Berry+Beet Smoothie


With Spring here, I figured I'd throw another smoothie recipe into the blog. I'm starting to get more and more creative with food (vegetables and fruits in particular). 



Ingredients: 

2 cups of mixed berries (I used blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries)
1 apple, cored and cut into fourths
1/4 cup of diced beets
1 cup of coconut water
1 cup of ice
Agave nectar for sweetening (optional)
Chia seeds to sprinkle on top (optional)




Throw all the ingredients in the blender and blend until your proffered consistency
