November Favorites!

I can't believe it's already December. It feels like last week was OCTOBER. They say that time really flies the older you get, and they are right. Alas, it's December 4th and I've decided to share with you some of my favorites from last month. I'm not sure if "monthly favorites" is a popular thing on the blogging side of the internet, but I know it's quite popular in the Youtube world, so I figured I'd give it a whirl.

So, like I said, I picked out a few things that I really enjoyed during the month (although I'm still enjoying them and will continue to enjoy them). Also, some of which I bought in November.
Here they are.

I'm gonna start off with tops. I've been really into neutral colors and earthy tones lately. The shirt all the way to left is just an olive green V neck shirt I bought a few months back. It's super soft and fits wonderfully. The middle shirt - if you know me, you know I love black, white, and stripes. This is a more tight-fitting, short sleeve shirt with a bit of a crop to it. The design was what really gained my attention at first. I love the simplicity of it. The last shirt all the way to the right is a another soft, short sleeved, v neck. However, I LOVED the tie detail in the front.

(Note: It was fairly warm in the month of November where I live which will explain why some of this stuff could be considered "summery" and unfit for colder temps.)

I bought these jeans over the summer, but it was always too hot to wear them so I finally got the chance to this fall (obviously haha). I bought them at American Eagle Outfitters. It was really random because I wasn't looking for jeans or anything in particular, I just wanted to check in since I hadn't been to that store in forever, and then BOOM, there they were staring at me, begging me to try them on. Ok no, but really. I love the way they fit and look- they're really loose and it looks great with the holes. They roll up at the bottom which was another thing I really liked. Perfect for a casual look. This was the first time in a long time that I shopped AE for jeans, but I can really say that I like them.

I'm not really one to wear jewelry much anymore these days, which the exception of earrings on occasion. However, when I saw these three necklaces being sold together for a cheap price (they were on sale - gotta love those sales) I decided why not. Mostly, I was drawn by the bird and leaf necklaces. I want to say they have an 18 inch chain which I think is the perfect length. They're really simple and I love it.

Ok, I've been obsessed with a candle for well over a year now. I bought a new one in November so I thought I'd add it to my favorite list. I have quite a few candles from DW Home Candles and I love them. Great quality candle and great scent. When they say "richly scented candle," they mean it. This candle is also really long lasting - I think I've bought 4 in the past year which is really good for how often I burn it. I'm awful at describing scents so I'm not even going to try to, but I will say that it's a nice floral scent.

On to beauty products. First off I have Tea Tree essential oil I bought at Kroger awhile back. I've been loving essential oils for quite a long time, and I've gotta say, they're not as popular as they should be. They are great for natural home remedies. I'm not going to go deep into the details and benefits of it, but I will say Tea Tree oil is great of skin, hair, as well as other things. Google it! The second item I have is a Botanic Shea Butter soap by Greenwich Bay Trading Co. in the scent White Tea Calendula. I love this stuff. I haven't used to this particular one yet, but I'm in love with the smell. I've tried some of the other ones by the brand, some of which were African Violet & Cocoa Butter, Juicy Peach Shea Butter Botanic, and Pineapple Cocoa Butter Botanic. They left my hands feeling sooooo soft. I have this new thing where I like to keep cute little soap bars next to the bathroom sinks. It's just something different from the popular liquid soaps. Last item to the right is the Burt's Bees Natural Face Essentials Soap Bark & Chamomile deep cleansing cream. That's a mouthful. Anyways, I've been a big fan of Burt's Bees for quite awhile now. I've gone through a lot of their different face washes just to try them all out, and I think I'll be sticking with this one. First of all, it's a 100% natural cleanser (meaning natural ingredients) which gives it major points. Secondly, the scent is glorious, and there's a hint of menthol in it which will leave your face feeling so cool and soothed. It's great.

Lastly, I wanted to talk about these boots. These I actually did buy in November from a store called G.H. Bass & Co. I saw them in the store and thought, "Well, I'll just try them on, see what I think, and go from there..." Definitely loved the way they looked on. I love wearing boots, and these looked like a good pair of boots to wear. I love the back zipper and just every detail about them. They're a little shorter, going just a little bit above my ankle. They go PERFECT with longer wool socks. Cheers to new boots!

I hope you guys enjoyed seeing my favorites from November! Maybe, just maybe I'll do this next month.
