DIY Rose Petal Milk Bath

With the holidays fast approaching, I thought I'd share with you a great homemade beauty gift idea! Totally simple and fairly cheap, this is a great gift to give and will most likely be appreciated. Yes, the rose petal milk bath, and yes, it IS as great as it sounds. I've tried this bath before, and I loved it. I felt refreshed, relaxed, and my skin felt awesome.

What you will need:

  • 1/2 cup of Epsom salt
  • 1/2 cup (or more) dried rose petals
  • 1 1/2 cups of powdered milk
  • Rose essential oil (optional but highly recommended)
  • Glass bottle or jar

Mix the powdered milk and epsom salt together in a bowl. Then add your rose petals and a few drops of the rose essential oil. If you don't have rose oil, you can skip this step or add another soothing oil. Lavender, tea tree, and chamomile will all work. Once you have everything mixed together, pour into your glass bottle. I stuck with a glass jar with screw lid, but a glass bottle with a cork top would work awesome (I just could't find one). Either way, what difference does it make? I hope you've enjoyed this - let me know if you've tried this before!
